Tools and Vises

The fly vise is one of the most essential tool in fly tying. We are full line shop on both Renzetti and Regal. We carry the classic Regal fly tying vise, which are known for their solid and stable quality. They are virtually indestructible and can hold hooks in virtually any size. If you are more into a 360 ° rotary vise, we have several different variants from Renzetti and Stonfo, among others. We also have tube vise both Stonfo and Renzetti. We have carefully selected fly tying tools from different manufacturers so that every need is met. When buying fly tying tools, there are three particular tools where quality is paramount. The bobbin holder, fly tying scissors and hackle plier. These three are central to fly tying and here you should not compromise on quality. A good tool helps you achieve better results when tying flies, and at the same time a much greater pleasure in fly tying itself. The bobbin should preferably have a ceramic insert, so that there are no metal grats or wear and tear that can cut the thread. For example, Tiemco's ceramic bobbin has an incredibly good quality, with a very smooth release of thread, and an unbearable ceramic insert. From Tiemco also comes the classic teardrop hackle clamp that holds all types of hackles amazing. Another, but also a great alternative can be one of C&F Design's hackles. They are simply super fat, and never accidentally release the feather. In our view, the veterinary scissors are by far the best scissors at a reasonable price. The scissors are very sharp and the cut lasts well and long. With other fly tying tools such as a dubbing twister, whip finisher, dubbing needle, or a hairstacker, quality is hardly as crucial to the tool's practical application. That is why we have chosen to carry the best of the cheapest products on the market.

Tiemco also offers the classic teardrop hackle clamp, which is great for holding all types of hackle. Another, but also absolutely superb alternative is one of the C&F Design hackle clamps. They are simply super cool, and never release the feather unintentionally.

In our opinion, the veterinary scissors are by far the best scissors at a reasonable price. The scissors are very sharp, and the cutting edge lasts well and for a long time.
