Synthetic hair - Steve Farrar Blend

A great artificial material for tying pike flies and fish imitations - both for the Danish coasts and the tropics. Steve Farrar Blend is reasonably soft to work with, but it is also slightly transparent, and flash fibers are mixed into the mixture. This is perhaps the most widely sold and used synthetic fiber for saltwater, pike and fish imitations in general. The structure is just right and has the perfect stiffness to not snag too much without being too stiff to give the fly life. At the same time, Steve Farrar is available in a myriad of colors and also some UV colors.
