Sea bass are attracted to flashes as they effectively imitate small prey fish, which are its natural food.

Their reflective surface and lively movement in the water attract the fish's attention, even from a distance or in murky water. Secondly, they have a long casting ability, which is an important factor when fishing from the shore. Sea bass often stay further out in areas with strong currents or near underwater structures such as rock reefs and shoals. These places are ideal for sea bass fishing because they act as natural habitats for prey fish and provide cover for the sea bass in the current and waves.
